The fair was just that, a fair. It brings in about 100,000 people every day. There was significantly more food vendors than I have ever seen at a fair. Typically there is a food section, but here its just scattered all over. It had all the normal things like farm animals and exhibits and one really cool guy carving sculptures in wood with a chainsaw. Where the trees come from, Im not sure. The highlight was of course the butter cow. A life size cow made entirely of butter. Enough butter to cover something like 1900 pieces of bread.
It was time to complete our circle and head back to Minneapolis. We all miss home. Becca is still irritated that she will miss her first day of high school. Ill probably hear about that for the rest of my life.
The vote for next year is North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska. Most of the time will be spent in Wyoming and Colorado. Ive seen enough corn to last a lifetime, sorry Nebraska.
Until then. Happy Travels everyone.
